Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding

(GTAW)

Also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld. This type of welding is the same we use in our automated equipment.

This type of welding is ideal for Aluminum and Stainless steel. The Aluminum has very favorable characteristics, such as a high strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, forgeability and thermal conductivity. Trained welders are required to weld this type of material, as it requires special care.

Our company has the experience to weld this type of material and many more, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminized and galvanized sheet, although in the last three, MIG welding is usually used.
